At the age of 9, jorden, began his training as a musical theater performer. after being accepted as a student to nocca (new orleans center for creative Arts), performing in new orleans, jorden was introduced to the world of classical dance.

during Jorden’s senior year he began Ballet training in new orleans. Under the guidance of his two first teachers Jorden was trained both from the Vaganova and cecchetti syllubus. within one year, jorden, was able to accept a trainee position with ballet west. this is when he began guesting as a performer. this emerged as an opportunity provided by the company at the time. this was valuable information that has lead to a healthy career. years spent in Salt Lake city allowed him to further his understand of the craft and put him directly in front of the worlds leading minds in the feild. this shaped Mr. majeau as he began his own exploration and development of “art” as he puts it.

As a director, choreographer, professional dancer and guest artist performing aroud the country, some of jorden’s most memorable experiences were being able to perform Mark morris’ “the lark ascending”. this peice sticks with him to this very day and jorden has said, “it fundamentally changed how i viewed music, choreography and the conceptualization of a creative idea.” other notable classical performances of Majeau’s were; le Corsaire, Le fille mal gardee, le Spectre de la Rose and the nutcracker cavalier.

After leaving utah, jorden returned home to train, and rediscovered his love for musical theater and Dramatic Acting. performing with the Tennessee williams theater company, Le Petit theater, Tulane Summer Lyric, rivertown theaters, JPA and st. bernards The company in productions such as; west side story, A chorus line, guys and dolls, gypsy, something cloudy something clear, chicago, Cabaret, one flew over the cuckoos nest, catch me if you can, AND holiday inn.

If it is choreography, direction, vision or understanding… Jorden is the one.
